God’s delay in return isn’t because He just slow about getting around to doing it, but it’s a delay based on patience to give us time for salvation.
Paul refused to change anything about the gospel of God's grace, and refused to let others do it either.
Philip famously asked Jesus to show the Father to them. Jesus let them know that they already had enough in Him to know the Father. We study to show how this was true, and also who it was a request borne of great faith.
