The Compromises Pharaoh Offers
/When Moses came to Pharaoh asking to take the people of Israel to the wilderness to serve God, Pharaoh rebuffed him, saying that their work was more important than worship. Then as the plagues came, Pharaoh offered Moses a series of partial concessions to the demand that the entire people go worship God.
Pharaoh offered to let them worship somewhere in Egypt, to not go to far from Egypt, to have only the men go, and finally go without their herds. In this study, we see how Moses responded with an uncompromising attitude, that they would all go, and with all, to where God said to fully serve Him.
