A Generous Spirit Towards Others Matt 7:12

In the 7th chapter of Matthew, Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount teaches that we are not to judge or have a harsh spirit to others, culminating in the golden rule telling us to treat others with the same benefit of the doubt and concern that we would normally reserve for ourselves. We also see that our heavenly Father has mercifully demonstrated this same attitude towards us.

Attacks On God's Attention For Marriage

Following the lessons on what God intents marriage to be for us, what looks at a great number of way that sinful and selfish people attack it. By denying God so that the entire foundation is undermined, to know keeping vows, to teaching that divorce is a simple and inconsequential thing, to not living in a loving way with one's mate, to all manner of substitute relationship, we see that everything God has made for us in attacked or corrupted in some way.

The Scriptural Picture Of Marriage

A two sermon examination of what God has revealed for marriage. How this union of man and woman is greatly blessed and how sexual unions apart from this are cursed, not blessed by God. Who examine the many facets of marriage -- the covenant, the bond, and particularly the one flesh relationship that results. We conclude by looking at what how social customs and laws effect, or don't, the things God has given.

With Proper Clothing, Modestly And Discreetly

The apostle Paul instructed that Christian women were to go about "With Proper Clothing, Modestly And Discreetly," and the apostle Peter taught that godly women were to be known for their good character more than for what they wear.  In this study we examine how to properly cover what the Bible defines as "nakedness" (both for men and women) and how our brothers can help our sisters in this regard.
