In this study we look that implications that our spiritual relationship with Christ and each other brings for the local church and the pattern that is set for it in the New Testament. We find we do God's will as we worship and work together in the spread of the gospel message and the care for each other as family members.
A look at the reality and seriousness of the pattern that God has given us to follow with the church. We also look at how that pattern is established and the dangers of changing the pattern.
A study of how authority comes from God, but is implemented by men for the benefit of those under it. In this lesson we examine the need of those with authority to use it with humility, while those under their authority are in proper subjection.
We examine the arguments that are commonly made to justify religious practices when their is no scriptural authority for them. We see how each such arguments as "many people do this," "we've done it this way before" or "I'd do do wrong that do nothing" and the like not proper justifications for anything.

After some brethren demanded that everyone be circumcised, the apostles met together to answer their assertion. The way the the apostles established what practices Christians are, and are not, required to follow is highly instructive for us as we seek to do all of God’s will, yet not demand additional things. We see how they used and applied direct instructions from God, approved examples, inferences from the text and things that inspiration is silent about.
